Product Description

Review

This book explores and asks questions about the place of prayer today and he even the simplest of prayers may lead on to an exploration of faith. --Phil Mason, Bolton Wanderers FC Club Chaplain

The response to pray4muamba was astonishing. Modern society may be labelled 'secular', but public concern to pray makes us think again. A brilliant read --Rt Revd Tony Porter, Bishop of Sherwood, Manchester City Chaplain 1996-2006

'The #Pray4 Principle holds up faith and prayer as an important and still integral part of our nation's underpinning foundation, and shows that there at the heart of us all there is still a need for prayer and a deep spiritual yearning' --The Good Book Stall

'The Pray4 Principle shows us that prayer is as important today as it always has been' --Families First Magazine

I pre-ordered this book a few weeks ago having seen the author talk on a weekend away. Alexander Lee has a lot of prescient things to say about the continued importance of prayer to people living in a sometimes apparently secular world.

1 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Mark Boo on 22 Mar. 2013
Format: Paperback
This is really well written, and though provoking in as far as it made me think of what prayer can be. In an era where faith has perhaps moved indoors, toward more private displays of devotion and contemplation, I found this a refreshing and invigorating call to come together as one - perfectly illustrated by last years Muamba 'incident' and the #pray4 campaign that resulted.
