Product Description

Synopsis

How can you tell if you are impressing your boss? Or a new relationship will be successful? What first impression do you give others? What talents does your child possess? Do you want to be a better partner, more helpful parent or more efficient in your job? By paying attention to the shape, size and position of your own and other people's different facial characteristics, it is possible to win business deals, develop romantic attachments, understand your children's behaviour and nip any problems in the bud as well as remain in the best possible health. An ancient discipline, face reading is one of the few ways of obtaining critical information quickly and in a non-intrusive way. Sections include: glossary of facial feature types and their significance; learning to read a whole face; relationships - traits to look for and compatibility of different face shapes; self analysis: promoting positive characteristics and compensating for negative ones; and dealing with colleagues and getting the most from your job. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

I've always been interested in face reading and practically devoured the entire book in one sitting! It's a great book for anyone to start with if you're interested in face reading. It has plenty of photos as examples of different types of features, together with succinct explanations of how to interpret them into different character traits and personalities. The entire book is well laid out and extremely easy to read.

It also has a lot about how to tell whether someone is more yin-oriented or yang-oriented and how to change your diet and lifestyle to balance your yin and yang energy. This would be useful for anyone interested in the Macrobiotic Diet.

The only thing that stops me from giving this book 5 stars is that I know face reading is a very complex art and there is much more the book could cover eg which parts of the face relate to different ages of the person and how moles on the face represent different things. However, as a starting point, it's excellent!

Imagine if just by looking at a stranger you know immediately what communication approach will work best on them. Imagine the consequences of this skill on your sales targets, on your success at dating, on choosing a life partner.

Well here's the book that will teach you how. It's very easy to understand with lots of photographs that show you step by step how to read each feature of the face. There's a whole chapter on how to apply your new found skills in the areas of work, relationships and health.

Did you know that by studying the eyes, you can detect a kidney complaint?

I tried this out on my Dad and it was so accurate that he thought I'd made it up!

Disappointing 3 May 2010

Format:Paperback
Pro: Came speedy enough and in good condition

Con: Where do I start. Poor layout, vague and sparse information, confusing, like other books it feels more like you're being enticed to book a session or a class rather than taught from the book itself since so much of what the author knows is held back. This book is another nail in the coffin for face reading for me, go to the library, look on the internet

......but STAY AWAY from buying books on this subject, you're just better off looking at body language and microexpressions, this is a waste of time I'm afriad, and money.

Two stars.
