Synopsis
Every little boy's graduation from nappies to the potty is always a very important moment-and one to make both parents and toddlers proud! In "The Potty Book", Henry needs to have his nappy changed so he can go out and play. Then mum and dad bring home a big box, and Henry is anxious to open it up and see what's inside. Is it a rocking chair? A bed for Teddy? No, it's a potty - which means that it's time for Henry to graduate from his nappies. I would have given it a 3.5 if I was able to but you can't and I couldn't justify a 4. My son likes this book but as a parent it is really hard for me to read. I dread it actually. It is a little long for toddler of two. There is one point in the book that is a little confusing. The little boy has an accident twice, once on the floor and once in his pants and how it is presented is confusing and doesn't flow well. The wording doesn't flow smoothly and the rhyming is just horrible in spots. In spite of all that my son prefers this book over his other one. He likes it to be read to him at least twice a day and I do think he is relating to it. I guess in the end it isn't about whether or not I like the book but rather whether it engages the child and prompts him to think about the potty. This book does that.

My son just loves this book, can really identify with the story. The words all ryhme so it keeps little ones entertained to the end. Definatly recommend!

I was thinking of starting to potty train my twin boys so wanted to get a book to read for a while before i started.It has a lovely story which it tells from the little boys point of view and will help get your little boy introduced to potty training.
