After entering a rather dark period in my life I found this book that I'd bought a couple of years ago at the back of my wardrobe and decided to give it a go. Its such a clear, well written book that is so easy to read and never descends into technical jargon. Rather than it being a book you read from cover to cover this contains numerous practical exercises which you complete as you go along. Gael helps you to break free of events from your past and helps you to evaluate the way you think and react to situations. You're encouraged to reward yourself, love yourself and generally break free of all the negative thinking patterns that stop you from being the person you want to be . I highly recommend this book to all women looking to change the way they are and the way they live

i must have been one of the first customers to buy this book and one of the first to finish it! I could not put it down and it gave me courage overnight, so much so that my original copies have long since gone to other people's bookshelves and i have been waiting for the new version to come out. This writer has the knack of engrossing the reader without jargon, really making them feel they CAN do it. I have avidly read all her books especially at times of stress, but it is this one i gave to all my girlfriends as a present. The writing is fluent and yet cleverly spaced to give the reader time to think. All her books i find can be 'dipped into' but it is THIS book that made me feel I COULD DO IT TOO. I only wish it had been more publicised and deserved an award. I cannot reccomend it highly enough. One thing that is so noticable about all her books is that they are not feminist and can be read by anyone. I am about to give a copy to my god-daughter for her confirmation. Every few months i scan to see what Mrs Lindenfield will come out with next!

Gael Lindenfield's straight-forward, friendly approach draws you in. Her understanding of issues facing women today has both depth and warmth. The exercises are easy to follow and bring far-reaching effects. Only work through this book if you want to change your life for the better! Anne Nicholls
