This game allows you to run for the president of the USA. You can travel to different states, and have a variety of campaign options, from placing newspaper adverts, to giving speeches to appearing on TV interviews. You can also employ specialist staff, e.g. spin doctors who increase your ratings in the state they are placed. There are also random events, some good such as the arrival of a bg money backer, to bad, like the emergence of whacky Michael Moore type film makers who attack you.
The game also allows you to play as historical presidents in the modern era. For example, George W Bush can have Abraham Lincoln as his Vice President candidate in a campaign. You can even design your own candidates.
The game is not without its weaknesses. The principle weakness is it is VERY crash prone, especially the retail version, so be sure to download patches when you buy it. Other than that, the game is extremely good fun for the politically inclined.

It's a nice game. It really makes you think about what is going behind the political scene. In that sense it can be quite entertaining too. For my taste the game play was a little slow but I give it a thumbs up for its originality.
