A small and concise guide to the 5S principles. All the steps of initiating, maintaining and improving 5S are covered in this pocket guide. The level of detail is enough to give a general overview and start improving the visual workplace without the expense of larger books. A good guide for both shopfloor and management if they are new to 5S. Great value.

I bought this book to help with a university module on lean manufacturing. the book as the title states is a good pocket guide to 5s and details what it is all about but not in any great detail.
1 positive aspect that came out of purchasing the book is that i was able to refresh some forgotten knowledge of what 5s is.
Purchase this book if you just need a quick reference guide to implementing 5s into the workplace or if you have no prior knowledge of the subject. but in my view this book is not for the more experienced lean practitioner.

Not what I expected

I was expecting a memory jogger, but this was a fast paced marathon! Instead of being a few, quick, easy to read points, the pocket guide read more like a book. The formating was difficult to follow and the font was difficult to see.
