A few years ago, the idea of a four disc boxed set of Bucks Fizz music would have been the perverbial needle in the haystack!
Now, thanks to the tireless efforts of a group of industry professionals and enthusiastic fans, who have always believed that this group were woefully underrated and that their output, throughout the eighties on vinyl, should be appreciated by a much wider audience.
To this end you are offered for your musical delight and delectation this wonderful Platinum collection! Fully re-mastered Bucks Fizz are sounding as fresh and as vibrant as they ever did!
Coming hot on the heels of the original LP's on CD, the Ultimate Collection and both volumes of Lost Masters, this well priced collection will not only please the die-hard fans, but also many of those secretive fans of old, digging out their own piece of Fizz from their conscience and re-visiting it with verve and vigour and those with a passing memory of ESC victory intruiged by such a wealth and variety of songs.
This collection is one to be proud of! Not only to put into your collection, but to be unashamedly enjoyed and lose yourself in its catchy melodies, wonderful harmonies, stunning vocals, great production and creative song writing talents of all involved.

There have been a number of compilations over the last few years, but for the first time a definitive collection of almost every track they ever released has been carefully, skillfully and lovingly compiled in one collection.
Unlike some compilations every track has not only been remastered, but also many have been taken from the original master tapes, so that the best possible sound is achieved. They really showcase the amazing production values, attention to detail, intricate harmonies, layers of instruments and sound effects. Some of the tracks now let you hear detail previously buried in the mix that was originally released, bringing the tracks up to date, with a crisp, rich and bright sound. They need to be listened to on a decent stereo, not compressed into MP3 format!
These tracks were recorded over 8 years and the 4 discs take you on that eclectic journey, from the poppy euro sound of the early recordings to a much more mature sound, whilst maintaining the energy and uplifting feelings for the listener that are their trademarks.
The current producers are so dedicated in their own love of the music and their tireless pursuit of excellence that they have even included brand new versions of some songs, with some awesome surprises for die hard fans apparently...!
Even a casual fan of 80's music and The Fizz in particular will enjoy listening to the songs they remember and be pleasantly surprised and impressed by the rest!
At this price it will make an ideal Christmas present and leave you enough money to buy the recipient a handbag to dance around and lippy and shredded chamois leathers to pout and pose like Jay!!

Apart from the ridiculously low price for 4 CDs which cover nearly all tracks from first 4 albums and some non-album tracks, these new remastered tracks sound so so good.
I even change my mind on some tracks that I used to hate, like "Talking in your sleep" and "Suzanne". Especially, the drum sounds on "Talking in your sleep" are very powerful.
