I enjoyed the fast pace and twisting plot. Some real surprises. One of those books you just have to keep reading to see what happens next. More please!

Some interesting twists which makes this first novel a bit different from most thrillers and unlike many others, very plausible.

Very well written thriller which contains a deep plot involving differing security agencies. Some excellent twists at unexpected moments. The main character's normality and insecurity at times is touching and real. Overall a very enjoyable read for any thriller lover.

Page turner! 4 Feb 2014
By Catherine E. Blacker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
It's so refreshing to read something that keeps you engaged and wanting to read in one sitting. It's also nice to enjoy the experience without too much additional wasted words. Descriptions are clear, to the point and makes you want to read another of Manton's books! I definitely recommend this book whether you are a fan of this genre of literature of not. It will keep you on the edge of your seat (or comfy couch!).
The Photograph 25 April 2013

A well thought out and written suspense thriller. Interesting plot and believable characters. I was hooked by the end of the first chapter and wanted to keep reading..........definitely not boring. The reader is introduced to the characters in a very organized and uncomplicated manner. The author's ability to make the characters interesting and then weave them in and out of the plot keeps you quessing as to who are the good guys and the bad guys. Highly recommended reading. Wouldn't surprise me to see this made into a movie.
