Product Description

Product Description

Father Herbert and his brothers had been making Glow-In-The-Dark-Crucifixes for the glory of God in their little friary in the middle of nowhere in particular for as long as anyone could remember.

Until one rainy Sunday morning.

That particular morning the friars found a curious Post-It-Note stuck to the church door when they arrived for prayers.

That night, under a great panoply of stars, as he brushed his teeth, Father Herbert sensed that a great mystery was before him... a mystery in someway entwined with himself.

More About the Author

A Sci-Fi-Satiric-Comic-Novelist conventionally published but now going ebook indie.

Reviews of his first book Scepticism Inc:

'If Nietzsche had written a novel, it would probably have some of the flavour of Bo Fowler's ambitious debut.'
- The Guardian

'Beguiling, humane and very funny... Scepticism Inc.'s narrative slipperiness and sly humour reminded me of Slaughterhouse-Five... This is serious satire on belief and the desire to believe which surprises and delights.'
- Time Out

'This outrageous irreligious first novel launches an exciting new talent upon the world.
Dare I say it, I have great faith in him.'
- The Literary Review

Bo Fowler teaches English and Philosophy and intends to write one hundred books and then die.

One star off, simply because it's not as long or as complex as I'd have liked.

Fowler delivers another book which takes a wry look at religion and its followers, and lovely it is too. Poor Father Herbert! And isn't it amazing what post-it notes can do? Maybe we should all try it ;)

I won't spoil it by summarising the story, just get it read!
