I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this story. I haven't read the author's first book, 50 Ways to Find a Lover, but I read all the 5* reviews - plus a really nice one in the Guardian - and thought I'd start with her current book. And it is marvellous - there are parts, right from the beginning, that will have you weeping with laughter and empathy for the main character Sarah Sargeant. The scene on the plane had me in stitches. Sarah is so likeable and genuine and there is depth here too as she struggles in a really trying love predicament that did make me ask myself how I would handle the same situation. I read a lot of romantic comedy and this book certainly represents the cream of the crop.

I absolutely loved this book, almost as much as 50 ways to find a lover! You can really sympathise with the main character, Sarah Sargeant and it is laugh out loud funny in some parts!
This book is perfect for those who want to escape from reality for a little while, are not looking for a light read and enjoy chic lit books. If this is you then I would highly recommend this book.

A FANTASTIC sequel! This book combines great wit, characters you can really empathise with & feel like you really know. Like many of my girlfriends who have read it I could not put the book down & frequently laughed out loud during my commute!! I only hope that we see/read more of Sarah Sergeant as the two books by Lucy Anne-Holmes have been incredibly humorous yet compelling.

Too hyper by far...
Difficult to have sympathy with the main lead character....not so funny...just plain embarrassing. Could not finish it. Overall found it a very disjointed unsatisfactory read,

laugh out loud
This book had me in stiches.. read it in one day.. Fully recommend to everyone!! Also read 50 ways to find a lover, which I also loved!
