3rd Album from Posthuman, the duo formerly of Skam Records (sometime home of Boards of Canada) on their own label Seed Records, known for running the legendary tube station parties in the disused underground station at Aldwych, London, which played host to everyone from Aphex Twin to Richard X, Goldfrapp to Mark Moore.
'The Peoples Republic' sees Posthuman leave their electronic roots behind and embrace more organic post-rock sensibilities, with guitarist Tom Brady and keyboardist Lukas Wooller (also of Maximo Park). A very dark, original and compelling album.

From the Artist
"We have spent almost three years on this album, but I think it will be obvious to the listener from the outset. We began with simple songs, written on keyboards and guitars, then spent a colossal amount of time deconstructing them, and rebuilding each track with electronic sensibilities and rudiments" explains Josh Doherty, one half of Posthuman. "It meant the writing process was much more complicated and more volatile - but it shows massively in the development of our sound."
