5.0 out of 5 stars The Peoples CookBook 29 April 2009
By B. Hogg
We see the TV Programme in New Zealand so were thrilled to get the book. Just love the recipes as they are so tried and true that they are easy to follow. Also they turn out as they should. So we hope the programme can do enough for another book as we will be happy to buy it. Thanks Amazon as you too are so reliable and prompt.

Loved the TV series and this compliments it. Some lovely recipes with a great variation. My only criticism is not all the recipes have a photo of the actual dish, which would be more helpful than eg. a photo of a ball gown on page 69 representing "Guyanese Pepperpot".

A good book based on the TV series. Illustrations were great as are the vignettes of the contributors. And the recipes worked. It shows that many people love home cooking. Reassuringly comforting
