He can kill you in any 1 of 412 different ways

This eccentric addition to the Monkton collection is unusually sinister unlike any of the other titles in the series.

From his palace in the snow
Though every sinew holds you back
You know that you must go

And when you've make the journey
'cross the barren icy land
The Penguin simply smiles and says
"I knew you'd understand"

Once you have made the fateful journey to the enigmatic Penguin's snowy palace, he invites you in to share with him a final cup of tea before subjecting you to his ultimate treatment.

I picked this up in a bookshop, also attracted by the strange title, whilst looking for a Christmas present for a friend. I was so delighted by it that I bought 2 copies, one for my friend and one for me! EM is witty, insightful and joyful. If you want to treat yourself or a friend, buy this book!

An unusual little book; the story is told in the form of a short poem. Both witty and insightful, it is oddly compelling and you're sure to enjoy this again and again (though you might not want to read it to small children??)

I picked up the Penguin of Death at the bookshop, being attracted by the strange title. I had to read it from cover to cover and was so touched by it's deepness and enigmatic storyline that I had to buy it. Edward Monkton is simply a genius.
