Handy & dandy 4 Sep 2011
By GlynLuke TOP 500 REVIEWER
This pocket (compact, concise, portable) thesaurus (lexicon of synonyms) is very nicely (agreeably) put together (assembled, collected) in an easily (comfortably, readily) manageable (user-friendly) small (modest, unpretentious) format (design, layout) that is a pleasure (delight, joy) to consult (refer/turn to).
I already own (possess) the bulky (hefty, sizeable) Longman hardback edition (copy, volume) which is much more exhaustive (comprehensive, all-embracing, thorough) and a boon (blessing, godsend) to crossword solvers (masochists) and writers (authors, scribes).
But this dinky (neat, cute) Penguin (publishing imprint, flightless bird) is somewhat (rather) easier (simpler) to use (utilize, avail oneself of) as well as fitting (slotting) into one`s pocket (pouch) or simply (plainly, merely) readily (happily, effortlessly) available (accessible, within reach) next to (by, beside) one`s (my, your) laptop (computer, PC) as mine is indeed (certainly, truly) at this moment (now, as we speak, currently). Could you tell? (Was it obvious/patently clear?)
In short (briefly, to get to the point) this is a little (small, miniature) gem (jewel, treasure, pearl). And so cheap (inexpensive, a snip) too (also, as well).
Indispensable (vital, crucial, essential)!
