5.0 out of 5 stars Strong, Durable, Detailed - perfect quality 22 May 2011
By sp
Format:Map
As already mentioned in the title I found this map strong, durable and detailed for anyone to find his position when out in the Peak District. It is a really large, double-sided print all laminated and ready to use in wet, muddy and al sorts of such conditions which are often present and sometimes come unexpectedly in this "heart of Britain" area.

Finally, I would say it is a really good deal both quality and money(around half price for what you would pay in store).

5.0 out of 5 stars Needed if walking the Peaks. 2 Aug 2011
Format:Map
If you are going walking in the Peak District you need this or the more basic version, even if you have a book of circular walks to use. With the one for the southern part of the PD, it allows you to check, shorten, or extend your walk, and avoid any walking that is beyond members of your party or that you just don't fancy. Money well spent.

5.0 out of 5 stars OS maps at there best 1 May 2013
Format:Map|Amazon Verified Purchase
If you are going out for a walk on the hills and you think it might rain a active map is a must.

The active map is laminated which not only allows you to use it in the rain without that awful soggy map effect but also helps protect the places where you fold your map.
