This is a short and readable little book, divided into sections of about 3 small pages each. It works through this lovely and well-known Psalm ,bringing out the meaning and making clear how to have a personal relationship with the Good Shepherd, Jesus, of whom it speaks. Particularly aimed at older people who may be facing times of illness, frailty, and fears about the future, it gives much comfort and reassurance of the presence of the Shepherd in this life and how He can escort the believer through death to be with Him for eternity.Highly recommended.

As someone who, over the past 34 years, has spent a considerable amount of time in hospital, I can heartily recommend this inexpensive little book. It is very easy to read, as well as comforting, soothing and reassuring for those in hospital anxiously awaiting diagnosis/ surgery, and also for those living in nursing-homes or living on their own - whatever their age!
If you know someone who is fearful for the future, ill, lonely, worried, then this beautiful little book could be their answer.
