The Paramount Rule is a superb female domination epic: a truly beautiful piece of work. It is exceptionally well written and imaginative and among the best writing on this theme that I have ever read.
I am also extremely impressed with Tanya Simmonds' ability to spin all the sexual nuances out of situations. Her ability to vividly describe sexual activities and sexual anatomy in such colourful descriptive language seems endless!
I especially enjoyed the story of Madame Dubois and her house of pleasure for women. The idea of someone providing a safe harbour for fugitives from the law and threatening them with the loss of that benefit as a means to secure their obedience is quite novel!
I cannot wait for the sequel, thoroughly promote at the end. It seems that the lady's imagination is utterly boundless!
Addendum:
The Pink Flamingo version has a few new surprises. The chapters have been re-formulated and in some cases merged, there are three new chapters along with an entirely new ending. This is understandable given that the original ended on a cliffhanger leading into the sequel (which became Prisoners of the Governess with no connection to The Paramount Rule story.)
