Book Description

What Happens When You Stop Eating Meat?

Lauren Pope, author of the cookbook series Caveman Family Favorites, has discovered that by removing meat from her Paleo Diet she not only feels amazing, but she has opened a whole new world of fun and exciting cooking.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best vegetarian/paleo e-book... 19 July 2013
By Nina - Published on

I love recipe books but this wasn't that exciting. Most of the recipes didn't stand out to me or look appetizing, but, I'm only one reader. Definitely good to download for free, but I wouldn't pay for it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Publisher: The "Look Inside" section is not going to sell one book 14 Mar. 2014
By O2Kuhl - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
Browse the "Look inside" preview and you will see the kind of things I really hate about cookbooks: lists. It fills a ton of space with no real information. Why make lists of fruits and vegetables.

Do you believe that this sort of sample will sell the book? What cookbook collectors like?
Here's my list!
We want to look at recipes..maybe just that we can see the type of ingredients, and if the instructions are clear and complete.

Amazon is pulls these books forward and they get my attention. The "Look Inside" for this one could not keep it. Sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vegetarian Paleo - is this for real?? 11 July 2013
By Julia Mozley - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
Working in the fitness industry, I hear about the Paleo diet constantly!! I agree with it in many ways, but the problem is I'm mostly vegetarian. I am so excited to have found this collection of healthy, well-organized recipes. Thanks for doing all the leg-work, Lauren!

Recipes are simple and no extraordinary. I've seem better vegetarian recipes. disappointed also. I was expecting more information about the variety of produce, their nutritional value and how to play with them in the kitchen besides the boring salads, casseroles and steamed foods.

I skimmed it and never looked at it again, and as a 90% vegan that's saying something.
