The Oxford Colour Portuguese Dictionary covers essential day-to-day vocabulary in Portuguese and English. It has an exceptionally clear colour layout, making it easy to find translations for word and phrases.
I find this dictionary has a very clear typeface and has quite a lot of phrases that are associated with commonly used words. The only reservation I have about this is that it could perhaps have even more because this is what people very often require when they refer to a dictionary. There is, perhaps, a niche market here, because larger dictionaries seem to think that colloquialisms are beneath them.

I really enjoyed reading this dictionary. Not only is it a dictionary, it also has german crossword puzzles, games, holidays, culture and many other great features. The only thing I didn't like about it was that next to the german words, it did not have the pronunciation next to the words, but if you understand the german alphabet pronunciation already, you will have no problem with it.
