BOOK TWO of a Two Part Series- Part One is currently free, so download it now!:

Imagine if S.J Watson, Lee Child, Dan Brown, Wilbur Smith and John Grisham all got together and decided to write a fact-based, thought provoking thriller that both educated, challenged and entertained, helping you see the action unfurl in your mind's eye as if it were a film playing just for you: then this could be that book.

The Orlando File is a fast paced thriller, based upon the latest state-of-the-art discoveries in genetics and stem-cell research. The result is a truly scientific adventure but with a thrilling twist.

When Kerrin Graham, a retired cop and now an investigative journalist with the Washington Post, receives a call in the middle of the night, his life is about to be turned upside down.

Six of the world's leading geneticists have all 'committed suicide' in the past seven days, his brother-in-law being the latest to die. Establishing that those who died were all employees of the Gen8tyx Company, a secretive research company based in Orlando, Kerrin sets out to discover the truth behind their deaths.

Discovering that those who died were killed to stop them unveiling the results of their revolutionary stem-cell research, a discovery that could usher in a new age of hope and health for all humanity, Kerrin vows to find who was responsible for their deaths and to uncover the powerful secret they were killed to protect.

On a trail that takes him around the world and back, Kerrin uncovers a sinister organisation that will stop at nothing to protect the secret behind the mysterious 'Orlando Treatment'.

When those around him start to die, and his wife disappears, it becomes a race against time to find the missing 'Orlando File', the only hope of saving his crippled wife and proving to an unsuspecting world, the truth behind the sinister Chymera Corporation of America.

And yet, when Kerrin eventually understands just what the Orlando File contains, he is faced with a choice no man should ever have to make, and everyone who reads this book must ask the same question:
"What would I do, if I were him?"

...and anyone who reads this book could learn a simple little known medical fact that could extend their life by 20 years.

Please note: Instead of purchasing Book Two separately you may also purchase the Omnibus Edition which combines Book One & Book Two.

Ian Irvine was brought up in Scotland, and studied Physics for far too many years, before travelling the world working for high-technology companies. Ian has spent a career helping build the internet and delivering its benefits to users throughout the world,...as well as helping to bring up a family. Ian enjoys writing, painting and composing in his spare time. His particular joy is found in taking scientific fact and creating a thrilling story around it in such a way that readers learn science whilst enjoying the thrill of the ride. It is Ian's hope that everyone who reads an I.C.P.Irvine novel will come away learning something interesting that they would never otherwise have found an interest in. Never Science fiction. Always science fact. With a twist.

The first of Ian's novels is a Genetic Conspiracy Thriller which explores the world of Stem Cell Research and encourages us all to ask some very searching questions about the advances that science is making, and how much we, or others, should let it affect society. A contemporary adventure, "The Orlando File" takes the reader around the world and back, and creates a unique moral dilemma that the reader cannot help get embroiled in: at the end, the reader must ask themself, what they would do in that situation?

His second novel "The Crown of Thorns" explores the power of genetics, explores the questions that the potential to clone humans will raise, and asks the ultimate question...what would happen if a scientist found a way to clone Jesus Christ?

Ian's third novel "London 2012 : What If?" departs from the world of genetics and explores an interesting possibility that Quantum Physics raises:the possibility for parallel worlds to exist alongside each other...and what would happen if a man who wondered what other types of lives he could be living had he made other choices, where unexpectedly to step from one world into another, similar but different, parallel world. "What If" is also an interesting vovage through human emotions, and many readers will find themselves asking themselves similar questions that lead character does as they read the book. As with both "The Crown of Thorns" and "The Orlando File", at the end of the book the reader is left thinking...and different readers may take away different views on how the novels did, or should have ended... It is hoped that in this way, the novels will make themselves ideal subjects for reading clubs or book clubs.

Ian's fourth book "The Sleeping Truth" is a departure from his fast paced medical and scientific thrillers, and is a contemporary novel inspired and based upon the tragic events that affected everyone who lived in London in 2005. The novel is fiction, and all characters in the novel, except one (the singer Helen Boulding), are imaginary. The novel tries to capture the spirit of London life in 2005. It is essentially a love story, but with every chapter there comes a new twist. As the pages roll by the main character becomes involved with a dilemma that changes and evolves and gets more complex with each passing day. And then, just as you think you have come to a happy ending, the world around Andrew Jardine collapses, and Andrew realises that nothing in his life was as it seemed. The novel explores the importance of trust in a relationship, and takes the main character on a voyage of discovery through which Andrew discovers that his whole life has been based upon a lie. But can he discover the truth and learn the vital lesson he needs, before it is too late? Or will he have lost the love of his life for ever...Okay, so perhaps it is a thriller after all... but a thriller of the heart!

Book Number Five has rapidly become an international besteller, first in the US, but now also in the UK where is has been the No.1. Medical Thriller since June 2013. Available either as a complete book: "Haunted from Within", or as two parts "Haunted From Within (Book One): Maciek's Story (which is FREE) and "Haunted From Within (Book Two): Peter's Story. Maciek's Story has already had over 90,000 downloads and in the UK has hundreds of reviews with an average rate of 4.72 stars out of five.

Book number Six was recently published and is a adventure thriller for everyone, with a bit of everything in it: Time Travel, Nuclear Weapons, Pirates from the 17th Century transported to the 21st Century, treasure, a pathogen plague that threatens to wipe out all humanity, romance, humour...it's all there! : "21st Century Pirates Inc". (Also available in two parts, the first part which is Free!(Free to Pillage!)

There is also a Book number seven: "Alexis Meets Wiziwam the Wizard" -it's a charming story for six year olds learning to read, and tells the story of a little girl, Alexis, who discovers that a Wizard is teaching magic to fairies and goblins in her own school! She joins the class, learns to fly, and thwarts a secret plan by a bad goblin to destroy the world! Whereas all the other books are in part based on some essence of truth, "Alexis meets Wiziwam the Wizard is completely made up!"

Ian hopes that if you honour him by spending the time reading one his novels, that you will find it a positive experience, and enjoy it.

Please write to him and let him know what you think...and if you enjoy his works, please spread the word and tell your friends!

Happy Reading!
