GORILLA FILLER WEATHERPROOF EXPANDING FOAM FILLERWe bought this, after using a different brand first, to make 2 large lightweight figures for a stage production. We made a 50cm circular cardboard template and used 2x750ml cans foam to just cover the front. We were actually very disappointed about how little it expanded and how quickly it ran out. We then purchased 6 x 500ml cans of gorilla filler and used about half a can to nearly cover the back. It swelled out (depth) so much more as well. Then on trying to shape the foam, it was nearly impossible to cut/carve the original as it was very holey and quite a stretchy material, whereas on cutting the gorilla filler, we could easily use a carving knife and scissors.
If you are considering using foam for modelling (and it's real purpose I guess), I would thoroughly recommend Gorilla filler. One instance when 750ml isn't actually better value than 500ml.

Good filler, expands a lot so don't over fill. I needed more so brought some poly cell in a bigger can although more expensive went further and the poly cell one had where you can push the end of the pipe on a spigot and then reuse later saving to use all at once a really handy feature
