3.0 out of 5 stars beautiful, elegant pictures 11 Mar 2001
This book and card pack although beautifully presented, did not quite meet my expectations. I found the type of questions you are requested to use rather vague as are some of the answers. More detailed readings can be obtained from tarot packs and angel oracle packs. However the imagery is quite powerful and the cards are a pleasure to look at and to hold. I found some of the rituals quite 'whacky' although I did attempt one of them. All the items required for the rituals are supposed to be quite readily available at home. However, all I could manage was the drum and crystals! In conclusion this oracle pack would make a beautiful gift, but I cannot quite justify the expense for myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spiritual insights and outstandingly beautiful art! 31 Oct 2003
By Aurora Diaz - Published on
I`m a Tarot reader and deck collector. I used the The Oracle of The Goddess for attuning my own energies and to see how the energies of my feminine customers are going. The Oracle of The Goddess has a beautiful and practical package, you can keep the cards and the book in the same box. The box opens in the middle and has two separate sections, one for the beautiful book and the other for the cards. You tie the two halves of the case together with the silk ribbon attached to the box. You will never need another box to place your cards, and the look is like a little beautiful treasure you can place on any table. It is outstandingly beautiful! The book is all in color with complete card images, it is a delicate work of art, first-class (excellent) art design and colors. I can only remember one other book that comes with a deck as beautiful as this. That is The Enchanted Tarot, which comes with a book as well made as this and is, of course, also made by Monte Farber and Amy Zerner.
The cards are big, with beautifully designed fabric collage tapestry portraits of the head, heart, and body of the twelve goddesses. Each card has a Title, Key Phrase and Affirmation. It is supposed to be used with a 3 card spread in order to see the energy atunement, head(violet border), heart(red), home(turquoise), but you can be creative and used it in other ways. The book includes some history about the goddesses, affirmations, secrets and rituals for each card. This a great gift for any woman, young or not so young. It is also a great tool for tarot readers or energy workers. It is a good price for a beautiful piece of art!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring and Informative 17 Mar 2004
By Caelum Rainieri - Published on
As a professional reader, I use several decks during a single session with a client, and the Oracle of the Goddess is definitely one of them. It's visually striking, and the cards could not be simpler to use. I've found that it appeals to both men and women thanks to the insightful interpretations and wonderful artwork that is a trademark of this talented couple. Each goddess has a unique energy about her and the authors have thoughtfully provided the appropriate symbolic correspondences if one wishes to work more personally with that energy. I would not do a reading without it, and I highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of experience level.

5.0 out of 5 stars great package, recommend to all 21 Feb 1999

I recently bought this book and cards set and think that it is absolutely wonderful. It introduces the possibility of the Great Creator being a woman, and how women were taught through evolution that men were gods to be served and revered. Included in the set is a book that explains how to use the 36 colorful cards picturing the 12 Goddesses to answer questions to the Goddess after meditation. Wonderful book, and I would definitely reccomend it to people in search of new religions or just a good time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lush, rich artwork, as always! 30 Mar 2005

Amy Zerner creates the most amazing images and that is just the beginning of the appeal of this deck. The tapestry style of her work lends itself perfectly to an oracle based on the Goddesses. You are swept into tales and stories of powerful Goddesses and how they can help enrich your life. Amy and Monte create the most fabulous divination sets - like opening Christmas gifts!

3.0 out of 5 stars Certainly not the best Oracle around..... 5 July 2003
By A Customer - Published on
I gave this 'oracle' three stars based upon the beautiful artwork alone.
If you are looking for a Goddess based Oracle, I recommend trying your hand at the The Goddess Tarot. (A bit more complicated if you are not used to reading tarot, but much more accurate and way more artistically moving!)
This is the kind of gift you give someone whom already has everything under the sun......or for any tarot/oracle collector. Recommended under certain circumstances.
