3.0 out of 5 stars OK but you'll know most of it 9 Sep 2012

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is an OK guide to motorbiking. It does repeat itself a lot and there's not a lot of information that someone who has done compulsory basic training (CBT) and any other bike training will not already know. It might just be the difference between a pass and a fail at mod 1 and mod 2 due to a couple of good tips and sensible advice so it's worth a read but you're not missing a lot if you don't shell out and don't read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant guide for beginner bikers! 3 Nov 2011
By Matt
Format:Paperback
A very clear and concise guide which appears to cover all the basics of motorcycling in a detailed but easily-digested manner - ideal for new riders(like myself)but I imagine some experienced riders may find it a little too basic and self-explanatory for their liking. That said,as a refresher for bikers returning after a long break,I think it is definitely worth a flick through the pages.

Either way,as I am reviewing this from the perspective of a new rider,I think it deserves 5 stars.

Ride safe everyone ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent publication 17 Aug 2011
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I am an experienced driver but novice motorcyclist.

I found this book very clearly laid out, and full of useful information, without going into excessive detail. The diagrams are good, and relate well to the text.

Thoroughly recommended.
