On 14 May 2011, 35 years of hurt were ended for Manchester City fans as team captain Carlos Tevez ascended the famous Wembley steps to raise the FA Cup. Roberto Mancini's side dominated the final, with Yaya Touré’s late strike clinching a deserved victory over Stoke City to bring the cup back to Eastlands and set a seal on Manchester City’s return to the top of English football.
Their first major trophy since 1976 was all the sweeter for Blues fans as City’s route to Wembley saw them defeat Manchester United in the semi-finals. Not only has the Old Trafford banner mocking City for their trophyless years been pulled down at last, but the blue half of Manchester claimed the silverware in the most satisfying way possible; by knocking out their most bitter rivals.
Now Manchester City fans can relive their long-awaited success time and time again thanks to this fantastic DVD. Really good price. Don't know what the earlier reviewers expect, if you wanted the tv chat, should have recorded it off tv . DVDs are complete matches with commentary, will be a great permanent reminder of two fantastic days!

This is great value for the two DVDS. However, the original copy I ordered was a faulty disc. It stopped every ten minutes and then skipped about three seconds. The replacement copy I got did exactly the same. I'm pretty sure it's not the DVD player because its brand new and has not done the same with other DVDs. Has anyone else had this problem...?

Spoiler alert! This is a disappointment if you're a City fan hoping for a full document of the cup run. The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th rounds ( which included 2 replays ) lasts all of 3 minutes. You get more coverage off you tube! A real shame as 2 dvd's are used so there"s bags of space. This package covers the full 90 minutes of the semi and the final plus the cup presentation, no interviews other than brief comments from Vincent Kompany on the run up to the semi and tht's included in the 3 minutes. So, a real missed opportunity and I'd suggest waiting for the season review for more action, unless you're happy with just the semi and the final.

Never mind the Sky +!!
Forgot to set up Sky + when we made the trip to Wembley to see the Blues lift the cup for the first time (more or less) in my lifetime! But never mind!! Read more

I agree with Dave B - being at the final, which I would not have swapped for the world I was hoping the DVD would have captured some of the pre match atmosphere and the tv pundits... Read more
