If you are looking for a book with words and meanings which is what you would normally expect a dictionary to be, then you will be as disappointed as I was. This book is just a list of words. Totally useless
Amazon Verified Purchase
I was delighted to find this on amazon because my old one was literally dropping to bits. It cost very little and arrived in as new condition. It's used constantly as I'm a Countdown addict who sits with pen and paper and does the game along with the contestants. Some of the words are no longer allowed and new words have taken their place, so it would be great if there was a new updated version; as it is the out of date words can be crossed out and the new words added. I hope it will still be available in a few years when this one has dropped to bits with use!
