I love griddlers/ hanjie but the only thing worth recommending about this book was the quality of the paper. The squares of the grids were too big so too much time was spent shading in, and the puzzles fell into two categories: 1. dull, 2. impossible to solve without guessing.

wanted colour puzzles, in spite of the cover picture, there are none in this book. It was not worth the cost to send it back so I have done a few of the puzzles. Squares are too big on 'small' puzzles, using too much shading. Many puzzles are impossible without guessing, which defeats the object.

I agree - these are impossible not because they're hard, but because they're poorly thought out and there isn't enough information. Shame!

many puzzles are impossible because there is no starting point.

No logic to the puzzles
Was bought this book as a gift and am truly dissapointed, the puzzles are unsolvable.

Japanese brainteasers at their best!
I like this book a lot. Even the easy puzzles are tricky and require concentration. Wonderful way to keep the brain active.
