Book Description

1 Mar 2012
From London ....

Alice Roberts is having a rubbish summer. She's terrified of her boss, her career is stalling, and she's just been dumped - by text message. But things are about to change ...

... to Italy

When her boss Olivia is taken ill, Alice is sent on the work trip of a lifetime: to a villa in Sicily, to edit the autobiography of Hollywood bad boy Luther Carson. But it's not all yachts, nightclubs and Camparis. Luther's arrogant agent Sam wants him to ditch the book. Luther himself is gorgeous, charming and impossible to read. There only seems to be one way to get his attention, and it definitely involves mixing business with pleasure. Alice is out of the office, and into deep trouble ...

... with love

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning debut! 11 Aug 2012
By Carla
Format:Paperback
I bought this book prior to a trip to Sicily and it proved to be the perfect lead-up to my holiday! I got a real feel for the place - and wanted to be immediately transported there. Nicola writes the sort of chick-lit gold that is harder to come by these days. I want to see more from this author! It was a great insight into the publishing industry also and not the typical love route you'd expect. Definitely one to dip back into each summer!

4.0 out of 5 stars A great chick lit read 26 Dec 2012
By S. A. Broadhurst TOP 1000 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Set in Italy, this is a great summer read, although it is perfect for anytime of the year. From the chick lit genre, this is more 'old school' chick lit, the sort I adore, which includes a strong story which is speckled with comedy and has a strong female character at its helm.
A perfect book to while away a sunday afternoon or a flight to sunnier climbs!
