4.0 out of 5 stars Very informative...a worthwhile read. 13 Jun 1999

If you have interest in the knowledge of secret societies and their power and political influence throughout the ages, then this book is for you. Michael Howard seems to possess a vast knowledge of these occultish groups from early paganism and Rosicrucians to todays Masons. His writings on the Vatican and also the Third Reich will astonish. Everyone of power is involved in one way or another! Men of distinction will beware of Lilith and Isis! Read on!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good information 20 Nov 1998
By A Customer
Unfortunately, this book has a huge number of typos. One is very ridiculous: Bostonia, instead of Bosnia. Otherwise this book has a lot of behind-the-closed -doors information. The author made a great effort to put together such information. The chapter about the occult and anti-Christian origins of Hitler's ideology is truly great. This book is written from a white magic point of view, and presents the anti-Christian New Age movement (with all its aspects: feminism, permissive sexuality, ecology etc) as the future religion. Strange, but the author of this book that reveals so well conspiracies, is pro-conspiracy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Overview 12 May 1997
By A Customer
A briefing on the alleged occult history of western civilization. From ancient sources to the catholic church itself, the Templars, the OTO, the nazis and up to today's CFR and other mega-elitists, this book is a nice introduction to all the weird stuff thats been going on ever since we became "civilized". Most of this material I have seen elsewhere, but not in so compact and pervasive a volume.

5.0 out of 5 stars good book on conspiracy theory 10 Feb 1998
By A Customer
Howard presents a good case for the conspiracy theory of history. There is an impression of delicious irony in the book. Who would have believed that occultists are behind the conspiracy. Many people think of them as kooks. If Howards case is true - he presents a convincing one- then occultists appear to be the wise ones and the rest of us are the fools.
