More About the Author

Hi, my name is Jonathan Davison.

I never had aspirations to be a writer. It all happened by accident. One day I had a few hours waiting for something to happen and I thought it would be a great idea to write a story. After I finished my first book, I vowed never to do it again. I started my second book the next day.

I am an independent author. That is someone who takes it upon him or herself to write and publish books all by themselves. This means no agent or editor, no safeguards, nowhere to hide! It also means my books might not be free of typing errors, grammatical anomalies or mistakes in my research - for that, I apologise in advance. By publishing this way, amateur writers are exposing ourselves to critique which can be uplifting as well as disheartening and sometimes beguiling. It is my aim to tell a story and I hope that you will enjoy sharing the fruits of my over-active imagination without getting too many pips between your teeth.

Thanks for reading.

This is a really tight, atmospheric little book. Would make a fantastic stage play as there are few characters and it is set within very few scenes, however, the dialogue and the description is superb. If this is this guys first attempt at a novel, then he may have a great future.

A debut book for Jonathan but full of promise for what is to come.A refreshing mix of sci fi and wartime with a hint of darkness.Mans fear of the unknown and natural curiousity to explore space are brought together in a past and future story of genetics and manipulation of man.Is there hope for the future of mankind?

About a WW2 soldier who turns out to be the start of a new human evolutionary thread. I think. For me it didn't really go anywhere. Maybe I was too distracted by the huge number of grammatical errors, a feature of more than a few e-books. But then, the price is very low and you get the quality you pay for.

Not bad for a free read. It got me guessing all the way through but I had to read the ending twice to really understand what it was about. It is a war story but quite tame. As a woman I quite enjoyed it.
