Excellent book, although it seems expensive it actually includes so much material (poems, etc) that it means that I needed little else for my course. Interesting to keep post-study for future reference. Amazon service extremely efficient and quick.

First of all, I saved myself 20 bucks by getting this book on Amazon than with my school's store. I wasnt suppose to get it for 3 weeks, but it got here the next week!! Plus shipping was free!! I read another review that didnt give it a good rating, but that's his professor's fault. He didnt explain Amazon's part in this at all. I have the first volume as well and my professor had us read a lot from the text. Plus, I am an English major and always keep my English text books for future references. The only thing I do hate about it is that you can't hold it comfortably like you do with a good novel. It really is quite thick. The publishers should cut the book into three separate books and sell it together. Anyway, overall, this was a great purchase and I am glad I was able to get this awesome deal!!! Btw, the book was in great condition! No tears, rips, or scratches. :)

As an English major I definitely will be getting serious use out of this anthology. However, the fact that it was not offered in a hardcover is kind of annoying. I don't have high hopes of the paperback holding up very long.
