This guide is quite good & very detailed but lacks in illustrations to go with the great detail of all aspects of the Norfolk broads and fens There is a bit more detail in the book given to the fens rather than the broads but still it is a useful read giving loads of detailed descriptions of things to see and look out for on your trip to the Norfolk broads. Including good mooring points good pubs and other attractions. there are some maps at several intervals in the book which is usful and backs up the written word and allows you to understand where what is being commented on is on the broads. The guide also has bridge heights and recommended places to do a spot of fishing and further details I may have failed to mention. overall ive given it 4 stars as it is a very detailed guide but dose go on a bit about the history of the broads and fens although this is interesting not fully applicable to a waterway guide in practice. Also first published in 1999 it maybe a little dated but im sure the broads and fens haven't changed that much since then. But all in all a good read would reccomend to anyone who has never been to this beautiful part of the world as it gives a good insight on what you might expect to find when you get there.
