This is mainly quite old tunes (although some new-ish as well), so if you look at it and think 'Hmm Pendulum, they're quite new, this must be a compilation of recent stuff' then you will be disappointed. It seems every D and B compilation has to have one Pendulum track because they're the only D and B producers that everyone's heard of.
Having said that, this is a great compilation, with loads of timeless classics, particularly some great tunes from the mid 90s.
If you can get over the embarassingly bad cover design, then this is a bargain, with loads of amazing tracks and a variety of styles from great producers e.g. Adam F, DJ Hype, Aphrodite.
A must if you like a bit of Old Skool.

I have quite a few of these 4 CD selection packs of trance, hardcore, dance, old skool, etc. albums and I haven't yet been disappointed with any of them. And this one is no exception, only that it's one of the very best and stands out - for me anyway - for that reason, though all are good selections and phenomenally good value, given the price. This one has some really great tracks, including some brilliant dubstep style. Some tracks are quite chilled, therefore suitable for background music, some more accessible to the mainstream than some drum 'n bass may be, and yet all of it I can't see could fail to please most drum 'n bass and jungle fans. And if you've never bought a drum 'n bass album before and are wondering about whether to do so now or not, then try this one first. It's superlative!
Very good and worth its price...there are 4 cds which will cater for all so theres enought that you will never get bored with
