A handbook thats very comprehensive. It provides a host of information on almost everything Nikon has produced. It provides a history and development of photographic equipment from early 19 cent to the present day with current models. Its a usefull tool for seeing which Nikon accessory are compatible with newer models. This book is not aimed at the amatuer though. Purely as a reference book its worth getting if you collect Nikon equipment or a dealer

I borrow this book from my Town Library from time to time and frequently make photocopies of the pages that interest me. I have a number of these pages stapled together. As a professional portrait photographer, I use Nikon F and F2 cameras and the non-AI series of lenses several times a week. When I see a lens advertised that interests me, I consult the 'pages' to glean important data about it's specifications. I find the data on lens hoods and the various interchangeable heads invaluable. I had the chance to buy this book new some years ago when buying a Nikon F with the legendary 105mm f2.5 lens. I wish I had bought it!
Digital? yes its OK for those who like fiddling about and looking at 'menus' but professionals avoid fiddling as it looks amateurish. If, like me, you enjoy using the older Nikon cameras and lenses and find them to be not only reliable but bulletproof, then this is the book for you. Buy it while you can.

This is THE book to have if you either collect - or simply just love - Nikon!
A most comprehensive work with images of virtually every Nikon item since day one.

Only grief is, that mr. Peter Braczko haven't updated this his masterpiece in over a decade...

A must have for Nikon history lovers!
