This is one of those films that once you have seen it, you don't forget it. I was a teenager when it was released in 1955 but I found it just as intriguing today as I did then. I had been searching for this film for years and am delighted that it made it to DVD and that Amazon decided to stock it. Many of the actors were stars of the day, Michael Hordern, Michael Redgrave, Alexander Knox, Nigel Stock, Denmholm Elliot, even a cameo of Alfie Bass, and more. The film centres around a dream, and as the film progresses, each part of the dream begins to manifest itself. The film itself is a lovely piece of nostalgia - I hadn't realised a Dakota was so noisy! Thoroughly recommended to film buffs everywhere.
