Brilliant book. Every home should have one! It covers every aspect of legal matters from Benefits and Tax matters, dealing with the courts,Housing issues, private landlords and council/housing associations to family issues, divorce, custody etc. Also consumer rights (Do I have to accept a credit note?)including details of who and how to contact the relevant bodies. A must have book.
Best price (better than eBay!) Excellent condition and fast delivery.

I had edition 1 and have just replaced with this edition.

It is simply one of those books that you may not use often but when you need to, it is there with the answers.

There is little if really anything it does not cover with regard to the laws that govern us.

Well worth being on a bookshelf in the house, just in case. It is a lot cheaper than a solicitor in the first instance.

This is a big book but don't let that deceive you into thinking it is full of complex legal jargon. This is amazingly resourceful and is full of practically anything you can think of. It is presented in a very clear way to make the various laws/regulations clear to you.

I place this kind of purchase as a "family must-have" sort of thing, along with a medical guide/book thing. It's not something you're going to need often but you never when it mind come in handy. Not to mention it is incredibly interesting to read about certain laws randomly! Read up on garden fences/boundaries and I guarantee that when you go outside to have a look, your fence (legally) will be the one that doesn't need replacing!

A very informative and most helpful law book just to have on the bookcase at least, for times when you want to know something. However, it was an absolute god send for me when I was acting for myself in a legal matter. Very clearly written. Delivery was propmpt and the book arrived in excellent condition.

I was given this book a few years back and found it invaluable, my copy is a bit dog eared now. I ordered this copy for a friend who was asking about the law and the jargon (Latin) that is sometimes used. I told her this book would answer all her questions regarding the law and so ordered it for her. The copy she got was like new. I'm now thinking of ordering another for myself.

I bought this book as second hand. The new one was too expensive for me. It came in quite good condition! The information, as the book itself states, is about 12 years behind today. So just use it for basic knowledge and nothing more.

Delivered earlier than expected and in excellent condition (like new). Excellent book, very easy to read, clear, with enough info without bogging the reader down with too much legal jargon.
