Italy is perhaps the most dynamic and complex wine region in the world today. As such much study and research is required. This book, though quite broad in its approach lacks sufficient depth to really give the reader anything more than cursory knowledge.

This book is such a disappointment compared to the other two in the series. It has little to say that is really useful.
