I am not a dieter at all, but I do try to eat healthily and have always tried to keep fit, so I started this from being in a reasonable (but slowly degrading with age)type of shape.
I've followed this regime for several months now, its amazing the way
muscle grows and fat falls away from your body slightly noticeably after a week and
after a couple of months very noticeable.
Other beneficial effects are that I sleep better and I am definitely able to concentrate on difficult tasks for longer.
I eat as much as I like of the foods allowed this is not about restricting input, so I don't have to go hungry at all except a little on the occasional recommended fasts (miss one meal).
For exercise I use weights to workout very hard twice, sometimes three times a week for 30 mins max each time.
The book covers and explains everything in a very clear way, its an enjoyable read and clearer than the 'de vany' website, which I find has many gems but they are often hidden away.
If you are happy to eat this diet, no chips, no potatos, no sweet things, no pizzas or bread, with only occasional beers and wine, but plenty of good fresh produce and if you will put considerable physical effort into short blasts of hard exercise then I'm sure it will work for you too.
I recommend it.
