I really wanted to like the book. I think it appeals to a slightly older generation. The book is sort of like a military guide/survivalist guide. There is definitely humor in it, but I didn't find it funny. There are all sorts of survival tips, but it was too demeaning for me to really like it. If you like the military, macho approach, you'll like this one.

This is a really good book - written in a very easy way, very funny, and at the same time actually informative. What I also like is that it is a positive book, talking about fatherhood as a fantastic thing, despite the obvious lows that dads can experience on this journey!

This book was recommended by a friend who just had his first baby over a year ago. He didn't say it was going to be the bible of all first-time father books but he did guarantee it would be funny. Written in a very dude-like manner, this book definitely speaks your lingo as it slowly draws you out of your comfort zone to prepare you for the maelstrom of chaos that is childbirth and fatherhood. Pick it up and enjoy.

Fun approach to fatherhood
Very fun approach to fatherhood. Good straight to the point tips but doesn't cover real technical or medical issues but that's what midwives are for!
