This edition seems to be out-of-print & unavailable except for high priced used copies available on amazon market. This "review" is just to let everyone know that at amazon.com (you can only find the book there by searching for the isbn) there's a review on this edition in which the reviewer states that they got this new edition to compare it with their older original version (which is cheaply available used.) The only difference the person could find was the new cover design, so there doesn't seem to be any reason to pay the high price for this "new edition".
I have the german translation of the older version and I can highly recommend the book. I give the old version four stars and this new version only 1 star because it seems to be nothing other than a high priced reprint of the old tried-and-true classic.

New Cover Same Story

Just curious about new editions so I picked this one up to refer to the original in my library. I see no difference in the two editions except the cover, which I honestly do not enjoy as much as the original one. The original edition cover was a master artist's portrayal of the erotic, which went beyond the flesh into the sublime. If that is a criticism than let it be a very small one. The original book was beautifully illustrated and it aptly conveyed the Tantric sexual truths in a tasteful and understated manner. This one continues to honor the art and form of tantra which is union of spirit and the flesh as One. So anyone who has the option to purchase this one over the first edition...it is a toss up! Go ahead and judge the book by the cover.
