The author has done a wonderful job for it to be her first book. Following the story of Ezra and how he discovered himself through the ancient lands of pharoahs, queens and exploring a new world of Amenti. This is a wonderful story of a young man learning about culture and lifestyle of the ancient Egyptians. With the help of his friends, he's able to find what he been looking for as his world is changing. The author utilizes simple and easy stories in each chapter in order to draw the readers in and have them continue to read. A good read for all young adults interested in Egypt, pharaohs, growing up and handling what life has to offer at a young age..
