I bought this book on an impulse, nor really knowing what I would find in it. I didn't expect much but found it highly entertaining and well-written. It was extremely helpful in my studies since I'm doing research on Gothic literature. Of course, it is a book on Gothic architecture but there is something special about it, some kind of universality that makes the essay into a work of art and a work of philosophy at the same time.
Kessinger Publishing have done a great job - the printing is fair and there are no blurred pages. The font is quite small and might be difficult to read for visually impaired persons but the overall printing and binding suits me perfectly well - easy to carry around and fits into the pocket of my portable computer bag.
A highly recommended read, especially for fans of Gothic fiction!
