This has to be one of the best value natural history books you will ever buy. Fantastic photos and beautifully produced, and the sort of book that could command a much higher price. I bought 2!

Excellent photography characterises this encyclopaedic volume of Irish dragonflies. This work documents the current state of knowlegde of these threatened insects in Ireland and provides a perfect basis for field work and conservation decisions. It is a weighty tome and deservedly so, full of the highest quality photographs by the renowned Robert Thompson. Print quality is of a high standard doing justice to the images.
