I can't understand some of the other reviewers total negativity towards this book. Is it such a crime to offer the possibility of an alternative/complementary solution to prescription medication that cause such terrible side-effects?
I've suffered with bouts of clinical depression for over 20 years and had already come across high EPA fish oils when I read Puri's book "The Natural Way to Beat Depression". Thanks to daily dosages of high EPA oils (exactly, as prescribed by Puri) I now consider myself to be back in control. I no longer suffer with the constant anxiety, or those long lasting black moods. If I get down, it's a normal downer and not a depression downer. I even got through my father's recent death without having another breakdown. And, I no longer take any medication - with my doctor's approval.
I'm sure that the advice Puri offers won't help everyone, but he never promises it will. The techniques he suggests are safe and natural and can be tried out over a short period of time, alongside existing medication. It may provide the whole answer, or just a part, or nothing at all.
Please read this book, what have you to lose? And, it really could change your life for the better.
