Product Description

Review

This is an excellent series which is equally valuable for KS2 pupils studying the Tudors and KS3 pupils who need to learn how to use original source material. ...Readers...will gain a genuine understanding of the period. A superb way to encourage investigative minds. www.parentsintouch.co.uk

Format: Hardcover
This 48-page book is an excellent illustrated introduction to the story of the Great Fire of London, aimed at young readers and schoolchildren, though suitable for interested adults. Every page is illustrated, many with contemporary engravings and paintings taken from the National Archives, as well as with photographs of surviving artefacts, along with modern illustrations. The text-pieces are clear and easy to read, while being informative, and each illustration has a relevant caption. A Glossary and a Timeline are also provided.

Format: Hardcover
Absolutely brilliant book for kids. It gets to the point and the page is scattered with interesting and relevant facts to do with the subject.
Great format and so accessible - especially good for kids who don't like to read.
