Rosy Cole was born and educated in the Shires of England and lives on the West Sussex coast. A professional writer for thirty years, she has worked as a Press Officer and Publisher's Reader and is a member of the Society of Authors,the Historical Novel Society,the Poetry Society and redroom.com.

Her main sphere is historicals. At present, she's writing the Berkeley Series, a novelised biography of Mary Cole, 5th Countess of Berkeley, a butcher's daughter who rocked and rescued the dynasty from ruin and was proposed to by Prince William, Duke of Clarence (William IV) the Regent's brother. THE WOLF AND THE LAMB, First Book in the Berkeley Series has been well-reviewed on Amazon and elsewhere. THE SHEEP AND THE GOATS, Second Book in the Berkeley Series is just published (Spring 2014).

Rosy has written in another genre under the pseudonym MARION GRACE. A new edition of her first novel, DREAMS OF GOLD, published in 1980, is out now. **It is listed on a separate author page under 'MARION GRACE'**. Also in this category is ENTERTAINING ANGELS, the story of a dysfunctional family struggling in the aftermath of two World Wars. This title is as yet unscheduled. THE MUSTARD SEED, a children's play about the little Welsh girl of Georgian times, Mary Jones, whose courage and perseverance gave rise to the Bible Society, was published in 2011 to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible.

Other publications listed on the author's Books page are: MY MOTHER BIDS ME, A Novel of Jane Austen's England on the Eve of Waterloo and A HOUSE NOT MADE WITH HANDS, an account of one Wesleyan community's struggle to bring New Jerusalem out of the clouds. This is a compact history in novel form which runs from the early Georgian era through to John Major's premiership.
