The second book in the Sophie Anderson series and another great read. This time it's a mix of cyber crime and real life murders as a group of serial killers communicate over the internet as part of a club engaged in a sick game selecting victims, methods and eventually killing.
Sophie, an FBI profiler Aussie by birth, also gets visions and dreams often from the killer's perspective that she's investigating. She's developed this skill a little since the first book but she's very much an FBI officer first and the paranormal stuff is just an added element.
The plot develops well through the book, continuing to add the enjoyment although it did drag a bit in the last third I still enjoyed it. The ending isn't entirely satisfactory but then we don't always get neat clean endings in real life. Definately got the feeling there is more to come on this story in the future.
It's well written again like the first book with Sophie being a well developed and likeable character, a strong female lead. A great second installment to the series.
