Product Description

Was Mary Magdalene murdered? Did the Catholic Church conspire to eradicate the Holy Bloodline from existence? To some Mary Magdalene was the wife or consort of Jesus Christ. The infamous Da Vinci Code has firmly placed this idea into the popular arena along with the idea of a Holy Bloodline descended from Jesus and Mary. In this unique film we journey to places never before researched in connection with this story. We venture into the heart of ancient Lincoln, England, and uncover a tale so mysterious, so at odds with the accepted norm, that we are forced to question everything we previously held to be true. We track down unknown texts, journey on a treasure hunt across Lincoln county and discover the final resting place of Mary Magdalene herself. See the locations filmed for The Da Vinci Code movie and find an English Jerusalem. Come with us as we go beneath the streets into ancient tunnels to find the tomb. Explore little known Templar sites. Watch as Dan Green goes clue by clue to unravel a magnificent trail of codes and ciphers. Join us on an amazing journey into a world full of synchronicity. Special Features include a tour inside the infamous Templar Prison and the Lincoln Cathedral where the Da Vinci Code was filmed.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Mystery 28 Mar 2012
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This documentary takes the viewer on a completely absorbing and enthralling journey into the mysteries surrounding Mary Magdaelene and the evocative symbolism associated with her. The story is well authenticated by Dan Green's extensive research, but maintains a magical and spellbinding quality throughout. The backdrop of Lincoln Cathedral, which replaced a wattle and daub church of earliest origin dedicated to Mary Magdalene and is the first cathedral ever to be built in Britain, provides a magnificent setting for this important film. The secrets Dan Green reveals are jaw-dropping. There is further news of the lost treasure that he refers to throughout the documentary and which he has traced to a location within the grounds of the cathedral, in that a GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) scan was undertaken last year and confirms the presence of two mysterious objects at the specified site! As my own book on Mary Magdalene asserts [[ASIN:1842931547 The Secret Teachings of Mary Magdalene: Including the Lost Verses of The Gospel of Mary, Revealed and Published for the First Time], there is indeed a mystery to be revealed concerning this supremely important figure. I believe that Dan Green has, without precedence, deciphered its many compounded codes and clues and has discovered its hidden resting place. It is a secret that will shake the world - in a good way! This DVD shines a unique revelatory light on the story and the findings that I am convinced will become the most important story of our time and, perhaps, of all time.

This is a very watchable and extremely novel perspective on the Holy Grail mystery. Dan Green, in a relaxed and idiosyncratic style, describes how the wonderful mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau (the phenomenon that gave rise to ideas encountered in The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail and The Da Vinci Code) has highly significant links with Lincoln Cathedral via the dense association with the Templars, and a complex series of codes. The analysis is compelling, and like all motivated investigations it opens up new questions and provides new physical evidence. For example, what is the purpose of the tunnel network beneath the Cathedral and what lies beneath the enigmatic and unassuming "marker tomb" that is strategically positioned in an adjacent graveyard?

In addition to tackling the codes and mysteries at hand, this DVD also highlights the extremely beautiful Cathedral at Lincoln and the work of great minds such as Alfred Lord Tennyson and Nicholas Poussin.
