Disappointing 26 Feb 2004
By A Customer
I was hoping that the third volume of "The Best of the Muppet Show" would be even better than the first two, but was thoroughly disappointed. If you like the three guest stars (Johnny Cash, Diana Ross and Linda Carter) you will be pleased because there is lots of music with them. But don't buy this DVD if you love the Muppets and their gags, they are almost missing from the screen.

Fuzzy Magic 29 Feb 2004
By JJ Denny VINE™ VOICE
This DVD is fantastic, the three featured episodes are Johnny Cash, Diana Ross and Lynda Carter. These three episodes are fantastic, whilst younger viewers may wonder who these people are, the generation(s)who gew up with the Muppets know.
The Johnny Cash episode has a country theme as one might expect, However Kermit finds his theatre being taken over by a mean radio show host and much of the comdey flows from the conflict between the two.
Diana Ross helps the Muppets brave an audience that are clearly under the control of Statler and Waldorf, the old guys in the balcony, who keep score with cards.
In Lynda Carter's epsiode the Muppets decide to play at being Superheros with problematic consequences.
Muppet Fairytales lets the disc down but after three great episodes who cares.
Also included is a great game, the premise of which is that each time the spolight lands on a Muppet you have to click it and you will be treated to a Muppet Monologue.
I really enjoyed this DVD and hope that you will too.
