Acts 4 and 12 say that the disciples' appropriate prayer requests were answered promptly. When they asked for boldness and grace to preach and perform miracles God answered instantly. When they prayed for Peter's life to be spared from Herod's sword, He freed him while they were still praying. Their prayers were timely and in agreement with God's will for them.
