This text was sent to me prior to its publication (that's what happens when your important) and I can tell you it's a must. In the words of General Kurtz "the horror, the horror". Miranda Twiss ( a name I've not heard before ) takes you on a journey through the bowels of hell, revealing the truth - plain and painful as it ever was. My advice? Buy this book its even better than the series.

Awful. Awful, awful, awful.

This book was loaned to me by a friend (a good thing, too, as paying for this would have angered me greatly) who knows I have a morbid fascination with the evil some humans can come to personify. EVIL appears to have it all; Hitler, Pol Pot, Idi Amin and several other seemingly evil people from history have their stories told here. It looked like the perfect book for me.

Until I began reading it.

The number of errors in grammar and punctuation are countless and the "facts" are questionable, at best. Take, for example, this little ditty about Pol Pot (emphasis mine):

...Two weeks later, in April 1998 Pol Pot died of natural causes.

Twelve years after his death, Pol Pot's comrades....

Ahem. 12 years after 1998 would be 2010. This book was published in 2002.

This is but one example. I haven't the time nor the room to detail all the mistakes in this book.

It's too bad, too. This could have been a really good book.

Note to the author: fire your editor. Or, hire one in the first place.

The only thing that could have been done a little bettr is make a better overview in te book. On most pages it's just one big line of text, they could have made it more fun and easier to read.
